Lorenzo Greco built the MasterDex app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by Lorenzo Greco at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect (or that third-party services collect on our behalf) is used for providing and improving the Service. When errors occur in the app, diagnostic information (Log Data) is collected. This includes your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, timestamps, and usage statistics. This data is initially stored on your device. Some of this data may be transmitted to Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for error tracking and service improvement purposes.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Your personal app data (Pokémon information, preferences, saved data) is stored exclusively on your device and is not shared with these services. While MasterDex has been primarily designed for an adult audience, we recognize that the app may appeal to children of all ages. To ensure a safe and appropriate experience for younger users, we have implemented an age verification system after the ad-free trial period ends.
When users verify their age, we use this information to filter and display only age-appropriate advertisements. We work with trusted ad networks and implement filtering mechanisms to ensure that content shown to younger users complies with advertising standards and is suitable for their age group.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable child privacy laws. The age verification data is used solely for determining age-appropriate advertising and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is necessary to provide our Service and ensure appropriate content delivery.

You may also have the right to data portability. Locally Stored Data: Your personal app data (Pokémon information, preferences, settings, saved data) remains on your device indefinitely until you delete it. You can delete this data at any time through the app's settings or your device's app management settings.
Third-Party Service Data: Log data, analytics information, and crash reports sent to third-party services (Firebase, Google Analytics, Crashlytics) are typically retained for up to 90 days by those services unless required to be retained longer by law. Firebase Analytics retention policies may vary - see Firebase's privacy policy for details.

User Personal Data may be used by the Data Controller in court or in preparatory phases for its eventual institution for defense against abuse in the use of MasterDex or connected services by the User. The User is aware that the Data Controller may be required to disclose data upon request by public authorities.
For maintenance and operational purposes, MasterDex and any third-party services used may collect system logs, which are files that record interactions and may also contain Personal Data, such as the User's IP address.
Users have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of Personal Data held by the Data Controller, to know its content and origin, to verify its accuracy or request its integration, deletion, updating, rectification, anonymization or blocking of Personal Data processed in violation of law, as well as to object in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority if they believe their rights have been violated.
In the event of a data breach, the Data Controller will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law, in accordance with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations.
Personal Data (or Data): Any information relating to a natural person, identified or identifiable, even indirectly, by reference to any other information, including a personal identification number.
Usage Data: Information collected automatically by MasterDex, including IP addresses, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, access times, pages viewed, and behavior within the app.
User: The individual using MasterDex, who must be the Data Subject or authorized by them, and whose Personal Data is subject to processing.
Data Subject: The natural or legal person to whom Personal Data refers.
Data Controller: The natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of Personal Data processing. In this case, Lorenzo Greco.
Data Processor: The natural or legal person who processes Personal Data on behalf of the Data Controller, such as hosting providers and third-party service providers.
MasterDex: The software application through which User Personal Data is collected.
The Data Controller reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to users on this page. Please review this page frequently, taking the last update date as a reference. In the event of non-acceptance of the changes made to this privacy policy, the User is obligated to cease using MasterDex and may request the Data Controller to remove their Personal Data. Unless otherwise specified, the previous privacy policy will continue to apply to Personal Data collected until that date.
